Have you ever been injured on the job and didn't know where to go to find help, or what forms to fill out or even what the Postal Service should do for you in this kind of situation? Well this page will provide you the guidance to ensure you are paid properly while you are away from work recovering from your injury, and that you receive the proper medical treatment for your injury at no expense to you. The injury must be identifiable by time and place or occurrence and member of the body affected. It must be caused by a specific event or incident or series of events or incidents within a single day or work shift.
Traumatic injuries also include damage to or destruction of prosthetic devices or appliances, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and hearing aids, if they were damaged incidental to a personal injury requiring medical services.
