All employees are required to be given a weekly safety talks and documented either by sign-in or daily TAC’S sheet. Follow up talks also need to be given to those who were not in attendance. Once the safety talk has been given, ensure it is posted weekly in an area that ALL employees are aware of so that they may review if needed. Currently it is being reported that not all of our clerks at the stations are getting their safety talks due to staggered Begin tours. These employees can be provided a copy of the safety talk to ensure they are aware. Either way, to assist in reducing accidents at our facilities, we must ensure ALL employees are getting the weekly safety talks for awareness. Safety sends out a daily safety message that can be used, Publication 129 has a multitude of safety talks. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact District Safety Office. Tomorrow’s productivity is your reward for ensuring safety today.
